Julia has an undergraduate degree from Boston College where she majored in Biology and Psychology. She also has a master's degree from Boston College where she focused on pediatric primary care. After working in the emergency department and in critical care, Julia developed a passion for primary care in order to help prevent the chronic conditions that send people to the hospital.
In addition to primary care, she trained on two inpatient floors at Boston Children's Hospital and trained with a sports medicine physician and a pediatric gastroenterologist. She has experience working in several different pediatric primary care practices. Her other professional interests include lactation medicine, child development, orthopedics, gastroenterology, and health equity.
