Depression & Anxiety

Depression and Anxiety can affect children of all ages and backgrounds. If your child is experiencing symptoms of either depression or anxiety, please call our office to set up an evaluation with one of our behavioral health clinicians.

  • If you or your child are experiencing any thoughts of self-harm or harm to other, please go to the nearest emergency room or call the Mobile Crisis Intervention team at 877-382-1609.
  • You can also call the Suicide and Crisis hotline at 988.

ADHD

Many of our patients struggle with ADHD and various learning disabilities. If your child is struggling with symptoms of ADHD and is under the age of 18, please call the office to schedule an ADHD evaluation.

  • If you or your child are 18 years or over, our office would be happy to place a referral for ADHD testing, please just send a MyChart message to your PCP.
  • Resources:
  • The Vanderbilt Assessments are indicated for ages 6-12 and PRP uses them accordingly. However, at times, we use our discretion to determine if the Vanderbilt Assessments can be used for ages 13-17 as well.
  • ADHD Evaluation consists of an initial parent evaluation for ages 12 and younger. The child is then evaluated in a separate appointment. Results are typically available 3 weeks after the last visit, depending on when Vanderbilt Assessments are received

Postpartum mental health disorders affect 1 in every 8 women. These disorders can have a varied presentation, but all can be effectively treated with the correct care.
